01 Why Choose PE Pipes?
△ The Importance and Classification of PE Pipes
During the installation of water purification systems, PE tubing serves to connect the reverse osmosis purifier to the water dispenser—a role of undeniable importance. The material used is identical to the plastic wrap commonly found in our daily lives. Within the water purification industry, it is imperative that these PE tubes be manufactured using food-grade polyethylene to ensure they remain safe and non-toxic. Based on flow rate requirements, PE tubing is categorized into two sizes: 2-point and 3-point. For water purification systems with higher flow rates—such as those requiring 3-point tubing—this larger size is typically utilized for connections; conversely, for systems with lower flow rates—such as 75G or 100G reverse osmosis purifiers—the 2-point PE tubing is the standard choice.

△ Advantages of PE Pipes
During the manufacturing process, PE pipes are produced without the addition of heavy metal salt stabilizers, thereby ensuring their non-toxic and harmless material properties and effectively preventing secondary contamination of urban drinking water. Furthermore, they exhibit excellent corrosion resistance, capable of withstanding the corrosive effects of various chemical media without succumbing to electrochemical corrosion issues. PE pipes possess exceptional toughness and high impact strength; even if subjected to the direct pressure of heavy objects, the pipes will not rupture. Under appropriate temperature and pressure conditions, PE pipes can be safely utilized for a service life of 5 to 10 years. During the installation of water purifiers, the inherent flexibility of PE pipes simplifies the installation process; they can easily navigate around complex obstacles within a home kitchen, providing greater operational flexibility for routing the piping and, consequently, reducing the time and effort required for installation.

△ PE Pipe Buying Guide
When purchasing a water purifier, the retailer typically supplies the accompanying PE tubing. However, since installation conditions vary from household to household, you may occasionally need to purchase additional lengths of PE tubing. In such instances, you can inquire with the retailer whether they stock the necessary accessories. If you have selected a reputable brand of water purifier, the quality of the accessories they provide is generally assured. When making your selection, you can perform a preliminary assessment of the PE tubing's quality by examining its weight and wall thickness.

02 Precautions for Installing PE Pipes
△ Key Points for Installation
Although PE tubing possesses excellent toughness, care must still be taken during use to avoid excessive bending or twisting, thereby ensuring that water flow remains unimpeded. Furthermore, when connecting the tubing to a fitting, it is essential to ensure that the cut end is perfectly flat to minimize the risk of leaks. Should a leak be detected in the water purifier, check whether the cut end of the PE tubing is even; if it is not, simply recut it to create a flat surface and reconnect it properly to resolve the leakage issue.
